This summer was a fabulous season for growing food albeit that there was a lot of watering to do to keep the plants alive! In our first week back at school, Year 1 pupils spent Friday afternoon harvesting our crops and collected all this amazing food to sell. There were: potatoes, beans, aubergines, beetroot, tomatoes, cucumbers, pumpkins, raspberries and apples . . . . . . and plenty to go round. Thank you to our KS2 pupils who made signs for the sale as well.
Money raised through donations will be used to buy seed for our winter crops. Excellent work Mucky Pups!
