Pauline Andrews with Somerset Chairman, William Wallace and former Chair of Governors, Hilary Allom

Everyone at Nunney School was extremely proud to see Pauline Andrews recognised by the Chairman of Somerset County Council for her significant contribution to our school across 27 years.

Mrs Andrews gives freely and generously of her talents and her time. She is able to see and always capitalises on opportunities to improve what the school provides for pupils and her optimism, sense of purpose and absolute focus for all she sets out to achieve inspire and motivate all who have the privilege of knowing and working with her.

Mrs Andrews is the regular staff member to accompany our annual residential visit for pupils in Year 4 and also organises after school clubs and playground activities with her instinctive mix of energy, enthusiasm and fun. Together with her fellow teaching assistants and support staff, Mrs Andrews mastermind the school’s 120th Anniversary celebrations, raising over £13,000 for a new Castle Playframe.

Warmth, honesty, insight and plain speaking shine through in all she does; we feel very lucky to have her as one of our team!
