Nunney School opened as a new school when it joined The Bath & Mendip Partnership Trust as a sponsor-led academy on 1st June 2016. As a new school, we received our first Ofsted inspection in April 2019 and were pleased to be judged Good overall. We had a one day ungraded inspection in October 2024. The outcome of this is that Nunney First School has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection.
Pupils at Nunney First School “gain confidence year on year” and “there are many occasions for pupils to shine personally because the staff treat them as individuals”.
