Ashford, on the Somerset Levels, is a place of fun and adventure!
July 14th saw the whole school spend the day at Ashford for a fun packed day of outdoor learning. Our oldest pupils spent the morning building dams across the stream and working together to create a shelter for their team.
Meanwhile, the reception pupils had great fun finding river creatures and participating in water stick challenges.
After some team challenges, it was time to visit the reservoir and spot signs of wildlife. It was a long walk but we were ‘Tough Tortoises’ and didn’t give up, making it back to the bus… just in time!!!
A huge thank you to Sue, Emma and Meghan at Wessex Water for making it such a magical day! We hope we see you again soon!!!
